Product Description

KASTAR 789 is one component and medium modulus weather-proof silicone sealant. It specially designed for sealing of exterior and interior materials.

Characteristics

• KASTAR789 belongs to RTV-1, with good extrusion, and thixotropy between 40C~400C. Easy to use.
• Neutral curing, non-corrosive to metal, coated glass, concrete, marble, and most kinds of plastic, etc.
• Quickly speed of curing, excellent adhesion, middle modulus, excellent movement capability.
• Excellent resistance to weather.
• Excellent resistance to low and high-temperature change. Little changes in performance at -400C ~1500C.
• Excellent adhesive to most common building materials, Special materials will have a better adhesive with priming.
• Good compatibility with other neutral silicone sealants.
• Belong to non-dissolvent products, low vulcanization shrinkage, and green environmental protection products.
• NUSEAL789 also is A high-performance sanitary silicone sealant containing anti-fungal compounds to prevent mold growth in areas subject to high humidity levels.

Purpose

* For weather sealing in glass curtain wall joints;
* For weather sealing in aluminum, enamel curtain wall joints;
* For sealing in marble (granite), concrete, tile, metal panel materials etc.;
* Many other building & Industrial uses.

Restriction of Usage

1. Can't be used as a structural sealant.
2. Unsuitable for all kinds of material that can effuse grease, plasticizer, or solvent.
3. Unsuitable for the airproof location, because it is required to absorb moisture in the air to cure for the sealant.
4. Unsuitable for frosty or moist surfaces.
5. Unsuitable for a continually soggy or moist place.
6. Can't be used if the temperature is below 4°C or above 40°C on the surface of the materials.

Safety

* Non-toxicity when cured.
* Avoid eye contact before curing. If this happened, rinse opened eye for several minutes under running water, then consult with a doctor.
* Keep away from children.
* Ensure adequate ventilation at the workplace or curing area.

Storage

Keep in dry place; don't unseal it before use; keep a storage temperature below 25ºC to prolong its service life; 12 moths guarantee.
